A 6-inch valance comes attached to the shade to hide the mechanisms and create a finished look. Bamboo Roman Shades are a cinch to install and simple to operate with the included cords. Since the shade is woven with natural materials, the textures and colors may vary from the product listing and change over time. The changing nature of the product is an intended design and not a defect. Additionally, the shade may stretch over time, due to the weight of the shade on the yarn’s natural elasticity. After installation, the shade can stretch up to 1” to 1 ½”. By ordering slightly shorter shade, the stretched portion will make up for the difference.

Note: For inside mount, please order a shade that is smaller than the width of calyx Interiors’ window so that it fits inside calyx Interiors’ window or does not rub against the sides. It should be at least 1/4 of an inch smaller to ensure a proper fit. Not for outdoor use, it will mold in high humidity environment. Each shade comes with a Retro-fit kit recommended by the CPSC. This kit enables the removal of operating cords.
