We reach out to every customer to see if you need an inside or outside mount. We also make sure that you measured correctly and to see if you need more precise measurements.
  • For an inside mount, just give us the exact measurements of the opening rounding down to the nearest 1/8th and we will take any deduction needed to fit that space.

  • These one touch cordless 1″ mini blinds have a clean look with no cords or wand tilt. The control handle on the bottom of the rail allows you to tilt the blind open and close with one simple touch. Simply pull raises and lowers the blind. This cordless mini blinds is completely child safe and come with a limited liftetime warranty.
  • Minimum width is 18″ and minimum height is 26″. Maximum width and height is 72″. Mounting space of 1 1/4 is required for an inside mount. Flush mount is 1 3/4″ and 3/4″ of flat space is needed for an outside mount. Headrail is 1 1/4 x 7/8. Height may be 2″ to 3″ longer than ordered.

MOUNT TYPES:
Inside mounted shades will have a deduction taken of approximately 1/4″ to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame.Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 2.5inch for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2.5inch please select outside mount.Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are often used when there is not sufficient frame depth for inside mounting.Our shades come with all mounting hardware, and mounting hardware for both inside mount and outside mount
INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:
Step 1.Measure the inside frame width at three locations-the top,middle,and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number deduct 1/4inch as your inside width when ordering.
Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-the left,middle,and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as your inside width when ordering.
OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:
Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 6-10inch to be the outside mount width.
Step 2. Measure the outside frame length adding 5-10inch to be the outside mount length. The overlap it recommended to allow appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps.

Calyx Interiors’ beautiful Roman-style Bamboo shades can only be described as the sensible choice. Noted for their rich textures and beautiful colors they also help protect calyx Interiors’ home against penetrating heat and Winter air. Note: For inside mount, please order a shade that is smaller than the width of calyx Interiors’ window so that it fits inside calyx Interiors’ window or does not rub against the sides. It should be at least 1/4 of an inch smaller to ensure a proper fit. Not for outdoor use, it will mold in high humidity environment. Each shade comes with a Retro-fit kit recommended by the CPSC. This kit enables the removal of operating cords.
