- INSIDE MOUNT: Enter the exact size of your window. Minimum depth of 3.5-inches is required for flush inside mount installation (inside window frame creates a clean, built-in look). OUTSIDE MOUNT: Enter the entire size the shade will be, from top of head rail to bottom of your venetian blinds. Minimum of 2.25-inch of bracket height required on the top (outside mount frame creates a taller, dramatic appearance). SIDE RETURNS will be included by default on Outside Mount.
